SmartAction is seeking an experienced Demand Generation Manager to own and drive multi-channel demand generation strategies that support our ambitious revenue and growth goals. The Demand Generation Manager will work closely with sales and product to design and measure lead generation campaigns that engage prospects and customers to generate new acquisitions and drive customer growth.
The right person for this role will come to the table with proven frameworks to launch, test, and execute demand generation success and know how to use a data-driven approach to report on the success of marketing programs and campaigns.
Requirements
- Develop and own the strategy for growth and acquisition marketing campaigns and programs that deliver quality opportunities to the sales pipeline and contribute to our revenue goals
- Design, execute and measure demand generation programs, including ABM, free trials, email marketing, digital marketing (organic/paid), other paid marketing, social media, content syndication, sponsorships, and online and in-person events
- Develop deep domain/segment expertise in order to build optimal strategies by product, market, and audience segmentations to drive customer acquisition and expansion growth
- Partner closely with the sales organization to ensure seamless alignment of goals, expectations and execution of lead nurturing that spans the full customer lifecycle and increases conversion to MQL at each stage of the marketing funnel
- Oversee marketing operations to define the right metrics, optimize for the right processes and tools, report on KPIs against forecast, and continuously hone the performance of demand activities
- Optimize our website to turn it into a high-performing customer acquisition tool
- Provide executive-level transparency to demand generation results in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual views
- Take an iterative data-driven approach to understand the efficacy of various programs to grow and optimize them effectively
- Over time, build a strong team that will be a growth engine for the company
- Have an understanding of the customer journey
Qualifications/Qualified Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably for SaaS Enterprise companies, with a heavy emphasis on digital marketing program
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools
- Highly accountable with ability to handle multiple projects, manage competing priorities and workflows
- Strong understanding of email marketing rules and guidelines
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Independent worker capable of managing multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to quickly learn technical information and apply it in a fast-paced environment
- Google Analytics, and SEO experience a plus
